There are two separate services that you’ll need for a functioning web site - a domain and a web hosting plan for it. Any time you type the domain name in your web browser, you see the content that is uploaded within the website hosting account, but if that domain address isn't linked to such an account or to an e-mail service, it's parked. Put simply, the domain address is registered and you're its owner, but it does not have any content of its own. Rather, it can open either a pre-made “Under Construction / For Sale” Internet page from the registrar company, or it can be directed to any other URL of your choice. The main benefit of parking a domain is that you can keep it and ensure that nobody else is going to take it. At the same time, it's not going to occupy a slot for a hosted domain within your account. You can also park domain names if you have a .com, for example, and you register domains with other extensions like .net, .org or country-code ones to direct them to the main website so as to protect a brand name.

Parked Domains in Hosting

You are going to be able to park as many domain names as you like with each of the hosting plans which we provide. Naturally, this feature is available just for domain names registered with us since the service is always provided only by the registrar. In contrast to the majority of service providers, we don't charge anything additional for parking a domain address and the process will take just a few clicks in your Hepsia CP. We also have a few parking templates to select from where you can include custom text. If you choose to host a parked domain in the future, adding it to your account takes just a click. Everything needed for the website to start showing up, including setting up a domain folder and creating DNS records will be done automatically by our system. Our feature-rich Domain Manager tool will allow you to view a full list of the domain addresses that you've registered through us and you’ll be able to set a filter to view only the parked or just the hosted ones.

Parked Domains in Semi-dedicated Servers

With each and every semi-dedicated server we offer you are going to have the opportunity to park as many domain addresses that are registered through us as you want. Due to the fact that only the registrar company can provide a parking option, you can't park domain names that are only hosted on our sophisticated cloud hosting platform. Through the Domain Manager section of your Hepsia hosting Control Panel you are going to be able to park and un-park domains with just a couple of mouse clicks and filter all domains you have by their status, for a lot easier management. We provide a number of different templates you can use and if you want to, you may also include some custom text to each of them. If you decide to un-park a domain and host it in your account, you will not need to do anything manually - our system will set up a domain folder inside the File Manager section and will create all the necessary DNS records so that your domain functions properly and starts loading the content you upload for it on our servers.
