When the .NET universal top-level domain name extension was initially launched in 1985, together with the first domains on the Internet, it was intended to be used by Internet Service Providers or infrastructure entities. In view of the fact that there were no special conditions about the usage of the top-level domain extension, though, .NET domains were registered and used for different purposes and by loads of people. This extension is a great substitution for .COM, especially if the wanted domain with the latter domain extension is not available for registration.
Acquiring a dot NET domain with our firm is as easy as a breeze and takes barely a couple of minutes, in view of the fact that we partner with an ICANN-approved registrar company. You can obtain such a domain for a time interval between one and ten years, or, if you already possess a domain, you can move it over to our company and we will renew it as soon as the transfer process is done. Transfers are available for all domains, which are at least sixty days old, provided that they are unlocked and that you have acquired an EPP transfer authorization code – security measures introduced by the dot NET Registry against unauthorized transfers. You can easily update the WHOIS details of the domain through your Control Panel interface, or, if you don’t want this information to be public at all, you can purchase a Whois Privacy Protection service, so nobody will be able to get your actual contact details.
The .NET top-level extension supports internationalized names, so you can decide if you want to focus on a certain country or region using a domain name in the native language, or the global Internet community – using a generic English name.
