A catch-all functionality that is activated for a specific mailbox will allow you to receive emails that are sent to email addresses that do not really exist. In other words, if you delete an email address and somebody still sends a message to it, or to any misspelled address under the very same domain, you will get the message in the catch-all mailbox. Using this functionality means that you will no longer miss an email for any reason whatsoever, which could be vital in case you are running some company, for instance. Since you may start receiving unsolicited messages, you can use the catch-all option with anti-spam filtering software in order to get only real messages in your inbox. Only one mailbox per domain can be a catch-all one and email forwarding cannot be activated for a catch-all mailbox.

Catch-all Emails in Hosting

You’ll be able to create a catch-all email mailbox without any effort in case you’ve got a hosting plan with our company. The Email Manager tool in our in-house developed Hepsia Control Panel is full-featured, yet extremely simple to work with, and it will enable you to activate different options, including the catch-all one, with only a couple of clicks of the mouse. All the mailboxes that you have set up will be displayed alphabetically in this section and to the right of each one of them you will notice a tiny "Catch-all" sign. Clicking on it once will enable this option, clicking it once again will disable it. Since you can have only one such mailbox per domain, our system will notify you if you already have a different one with this option enabled or if you’ve got enabled email forwarding.

Catch-all Emails in Semi-dedicated Servers

You will be able to set up a catch-all address with no more than one click if you have a semi-dedicated server with our company and your emails are handled by our cloud hosting platform. All the mailboxes that you create with any domain hosted in the account will be displayed in the Email Manager section of your Hepsia hosting Control Panel. Each of them will have a tiny "Catch-all" icon on its right-hand side, so all it will take to activate this functionality will be to click that icon. In the exact same manner you will be able to remove the feature, if you no longer need it. Our system will notify you if you are trying to enable a second catch-all email address for a particular domain name or if there’s enabled email forwarding, but it will never deactivate or change any feature automatically or without your permission.
